I explore the concept of the pile as a universal structure that transcends geographical, cultural and political barriers. Through categorization, spoken word and imagery, I expand the notion of this ubiquitous formation, using as context collective moments in history, personal experiences, and imagery of Puerto Rico after Hurricane María in 2017.
