Exploring the idea of the PowerGrab industrial adhesive product as symbolic and metaphoric object in relation to power and the phallus, I appropriated this commercial container by representing some of the gestures when using the material to literally “embed”. Cutting the outer spout, punching the inner seal and pressing the caulk gun can be action to used as reinterpretation of this object as a phallic symbol.
