As part of the exhibition A tropic squall blew in, while you dried in the sand (2022), I activate the grounds of Wave Hill Public Garden & Cultural Center in Bronx, NY with a sun tanning performance, seeking to reclaim a leisure space. I wear a mask created out of a blue tarp, and I employ my body as a vessel to consider various facets of my identity in relation to human-made paradisiacal landscapes.
