Spanish for breathing, this word has multiples meanings in Latin America. It can mean the action of breathing, or the idea of taking a rest or tomar un respiro. This intervention in the public sphere, made in collaboration with Alex Dolores Salerno, aims to allow passersby’s to acknowledge their bodies as they transit the city, and recognize when the moment has come for some rest. RESPIRO was commissioned for the Bandera project by todomundo in Guadalajara, Mexico.
